Worldwide Photography Intern
This summer, I had the wonderful opportunity to work at Paramount Pictures within the Stills Department. Our department worked directly with photographers, photo labs, press representatives, the Publicity Department and many other individuals both on and off the lot. I was the only Photo Intern on the lot, but there were over 100 interns in the summer program within other departments.
During my time there, I created ID sheets for photographers to identify talent at screenings and press events, retouched headshots, gathered materials for approved photographers for screenings, managed thousands of photos for over 12 upcoming films, published film stills and special shoots both domestically and internationally to 72 territories for outlet use, noted international trailer placements, and pulled together syndication decks for talent and photographers. I saw many facets of the studio culture through employee speaker series and various interactions with staff. The magazine and online placements below contain stills that my team and I directly dealt with and issued to their respective outlet for publication; the syndication deck and ID sheet are also below to provide a sample of some work that I have done as well. While my department is small, we are a large piece of the visual publicity component, as we have control over the stills from all of Paramount's films. |

Syndication Decks |
ID Sheets |
These are used to pitch potential photographers for specific projects, such as photographing talent or a film. Syndication decks may also contain an agency's collection of photos of one individual for outlets to use for future publication.
|
ID Sheets are sent out to members in the publicity department to officially show who is working on/in a particular film, but they can also assist photographers in identifying specific talent at events.
